M Wayne Knight, 1949 - 2009
M Wayne Knight was my advisor and graphic design professor in school.
I met Wayne after spending several painful semesters trying to figure out what I wanted to do - taking courses in philosophy, psychology, political science, computer science, math.
I decided on graphic design after meeting Wayne and seeing the work his students were doing. The following several years would turn out to be some of the most inspiring and creative years of my life up to this point.
Wayne passed away in October after coming down with the swine flue. After I graduated, about a year before he died I wrote him and told him I would probably always be an artist thanks to him.
So, in memory of M Wayne Knight - cheers to that.
Rest in peace my friend.
